The laboratory was established in 1954. Professor Dmitry Nikolaevich Kursanov, being the corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences was the founder of the laboratory.
Research area:
Synthesis and studies of the structure and reactivity of organometallic compounds under the conditions of ion and radical ion reactions in condensed and gas phases. The engineering aspect of these studies consists in the revelation of the practically important properties of the synthesized compounds (biological activity, catalytic, and photochromic properties, and others).
