Application of X-ray photoelectron and Auger spectroscopies, X-ray adsorption spectroscopy (EXAFS amd XANES), electron microscopy, and computer simulations in studies of surfaces, interfaces, thin films, nanoparticles, partially ordered and amorphous phases, and bioorganic systems.
